This rustic leaf art has been designed to hang outdoors year around with no maintenance needed.  The piece is made of carbon steel and left to oxidize.  It hangs from a hidden saw tooth welded behind the leaf. Stainless steel pins hold the entire piece away from the wall, creating a bit of a shadow, but also adding some protection to the wall from rust staining.

The colour comes from genuine rust!  If you prefer to hang this inside, we suggest sealing it with a clear lacquer designed for metal such as Tremclad to reduce scaling.  As each item is made by hand there may be variations in shape or colouring.
